    Another type of project to consider for extra/emergency intercontinental bandwidth: seafaring, drone, relay stations. Concept is that some small drones fly high and are supported by a small seafaring platform & environmental energy. Feasible? Valuable?

      The combinatorial space of how it could work, varying number, size, altitude, power spectrum of drones & density/size of platforms is huge. A biz analysis could begin with a set of conservative claims about what is possible at different station parameter values & what is the economic value of an overall type of network contribution – then simulate & do sensitivity analysis to look at optimum combinations & which parameter claims matter the most at the margins.
