joshJodi Alvarez was always a male. He had the diminutive name early in elementary school and didn’t renounce it in the school context. He was never a feminine personality. His family home in elementary was located on Bowman ave, across from the school, down the street from Gov. Shapp’s place. On their 2nd floor, they would have been able to gaze across the school fields at the far corner of the playground where the back corner of our lot would be just barely invisible, not quite reaching the school fence, blocked by the intersection of the lots of the Hagen’s and the Horowitz’s.

joshPeople asking why the mispelling here – why ‘Jodi’ instead of the “Jody” that was actually used?
Truth is that at the moment I typed the blog post, I wasn’t consciously thinking about the substitution. I noticed it a few minutes later but kept the “mistake” in context because
a) edits like that are allowed for these sort of pictionary message games – it’s idiomatic
b) the I works better for the verses/content
c) the actual picture in our yearbook fit with the concept of someone being “ready up” from N IT like source.

joshAlso, I’ve come to understand that unconscious influence habitually plays a big role in verse creation. I still have a long way to go in my production, and I am not targeting a unique key combo as a signature. Yet I do find unconscious help affecting my writing to a greater extent as time goes on. I miss not only the time of life, but also the conversational & environmental (e.g. disapproving/questioning conversant faces in response) that others learned with. So my learning process is slower, but it is happening.
In terms of rumors about Jody id on GT – the rumors I heard were that a different DIA Jody, not any of the people we knew from pre-college days, was a significant GT influencer. I believe some other ids also were on the team, but I haven’t heard reports.

It’s usually not strategic for me to discuss rumors of additional replacements for ids after they’ve moved to other ids on GT. But the older ids should no longer to refer to them, so sometimes I play “you can guess who I am talking about” when it doesn’t seem harmful or it’s the best way of communicating in an emergency. Daily, I express my frustration with being out of the loop.
Some versions of Josh Tennebaum were selected for GT based on being a high quality researcher at MIT & elsewhere & said to be a cool dude. I don’t know him personally or believe there was any attempt to draw an id connection. He doesn’t look like me.
There was a person in Deep State who got some Deep State version of the U.S. Heine mafia id I had while being at MIT. He is said to have appeared in some online videos put out by CIA as a trick & to have been killed for the combo of his efforts & personal life – I see his as a neutral dupe/victim, without much knowledge. Another person who claimed an inherited id connection from that person was casually selected for GT based on a random pass on linkedin. He didn’t look like me.
