JoshIn contrast, there is a lot more variation in whether the presence of same-sex men has anything to do with this situation. I believe that the same-sex men connection to LC editing is mostly a Spook reality that existed for other reasons. The desire to have these women as kept, anonymous labor is generally the reason for the situation. It is not to create mustaches for gay men. Spook desires kept men and kept women, and the gay man connection comes in there. The tradition of ghost editors is poorly compensated women without family or social support, working anonymously to make some front look better.

JoshWomen’s rights, labor rights, and civil rights were all much weaker historically. As the New Deal and other labor laws got passed, the media apparently handed over the slave management job entirely to Spook. I don’t know if either the media barons or Spook saw it that way, but that seems to be what happened.

JoshI’ll mention once again that Spook related writing after 1950 frequently includes references to hurting/killing outsider male interests. It isn’t possible from LCs to get the true story of all those situations. But it is possible to see that they “in women” writing LCs were being told that outside men were being killed for having contact with them. I’ve seen this in everything from internal FBI notes to popular song lyrics. So it is not true that is some kind of new program. What I see is that post-National Security Security Act of 1947, NOTHING was seen as too radical for CIA, FBI, or DOD leaders. Anything they could claim was good for security, no matter how ugly or destructive or immoral, they would justify in their existential struggle. After Stalin died in 1953 and the Cold War slowed in the 70s and ended in the mid 80s they did not turn around and give up an of their extreme powers or warped morality. As anyone who studies the history of institutional corruption would predict, it smoothly transitioned from warped paranoia about existential struggles of nations to permanent corruption and fascism just because they like it that way.

JoshI made a note to investigate Samuel Irving Newhouse Sr. As one can see from the story, he grew a fortune from nothing to over $5 billion dollars between 1920 and the late ’70s, solely through the acquisition of small newspapers. The public story would be that he was savvy with advertising and accounting and held down labor costs. Perhaps he had friendly financing too? These businesses are cut throat competitive. That kind of weed growth doesn’t happen without hidden advantages. So I am interested in looking for evidence of using hidden slave labor from out of town to drive down costs, and perhaps some hidden connections in advertising. Not sure what I will find besides checking LCs before and after the acquisitions. But it’s worth a look.

JoshMy guess is that Spook kids are trained to be absolutely obedient and not ask questions from a very early age. They don’t get real info.

JoshMI5/MI6 was active from World War I on. For example, the infamous Zinoviev Letter was an MI6 act, and you can see the LCs in it.
