I have had a had a lot of difficult in my personal situation, waiting for GT aid/help that never materializes. Part of the explanation for that, offered at varioius times, was the influence on finances/drivers of execs who were either working against the egalitarian GT concepts for other agendas or who believed that I was making a lot more $$$$$ for GT in my current situation & it would be unwise to risk that.

My points here include the view that these undemocratic or insince influences harm all team members. And I also believe that I could help team profits more effectively, all things considered, as a coordinating collaborator rather than a blind pinata.
