JoshI’m just happy to be a dedicated fan.

JoshI’ve got a big passion for us getting together, more together, always finding ways to be more <perfect together>. Story of OD is my story too.
Personally, I vote that we should make progress by losing these Nazi death traps we are have, for some time, been caught in. However we do it, I like being together.

JoshI can do both of these things, together: 1) remind u how much I love u & want us together, 2) remind u that u are special to other people too – both now and in the past – and they do react to the degree of your absorption in other people (like me) – for u to keep feeling wronged because of that is misguided. U always wanted your version of true love, & when u get that u are better than even.

JoshThere are a lot of literary stories featuring gay men who grew up in a closet or non-accepting environment, with the effect that they assumed their love would be a woman & that was right. At some point, they break through and realize they can only truly love a male romantically. Maybe, in a sense, u and our friends had a kind of parallel experience – you were told that real guys/sex were off limits & all the guys you could meet were creepy, not friends, & actually gay. So there was a lot of pressure to make do with the idea of whatever version of romance you could have with women. But inside, being strongly hetero, you each realize at some point that you can only really love a man romantically. So you see that interaction with a woman could never be really “right” in a psychological way.

JoshNot frozen in every dimension or forever. Just frozen in some dimensions until freedom. I try to make it as few frozen dimensions as we can manage, & hope all my friends still love me.

JoshI’m curiouis about whether u had any conscious models – real or fictional – for <Open Defence>’s personality.

JoshI don’t know what u said. Didn’t catch anything too specific. I’ll tentatively go with “No, it’s just the personality that came out of me, feeling sexy & prickly at the same time & mapping that onto a professional Indian woman.” Something like that? Did u edit things that fit this woman?

JoshAs I implied above, I’m mainly interested in the quality of your associated feelings in 2010-2011 and the part of that which carries over today…so I think you are my treasure.

JoshEverything can *potentially* be described using a stream of characters or bits. Any given stream can be read/interpreted in an infinite variety of ways. Your rhythms communicate a lot of deep feeling…this grew ever truer as I learned to read u, but it was true early on too, even when I couldn’t…because u communicate so much in parallel, there are lots of chances to match up. And I think about what I read, & feel it too. U say, “hen”, a lot, so I’ll point out that this description didn’t make sense for so many years, & I guess u had a feeling that one day could understand u, closer to the way u see/feel yourself than most people u viewed from afar. That’s only one of the reasons I say that u had a lot of special insight into me. Isn’t that one of the very nicest ways of being taken care of? Rare & priceless.

JoshFeeling any nostalgia for the days of low level CIA people who only hear lies anyway, reading deliberately falsified, outdated, untrue, crib notes about whichever victims they are abusing and babbling some nonsense on that basis???
Nope, me neither…
