joshThey have made a series of Tanmay Bakshi. Most of them are impressive, but only 50%, or are pleasant for GT. I infer that the “who I am” version stopped in 2013 or earlier & I will look. As I read, I thought of 1 project idea which fits his interests, experience & good team – Describe a class/methodology of computational functions, including some that are machine learning systems, with the property that the current model state of any can be efficiently translated to the initial model state of any other in the class [ or maybe there are learners & targets…]. Motivation is for continuous refinement of both the computational properties & the accuracy/suitability of the models – i.e. some approaches are good for slowly learning messy problems, but once we have a good starting point, we can do better with another learner or we can extract a nicer computational format for production.

joshThis article is from a survey a VFX artist did in 2016 in the 3D gaming/VR community around Unity3D, a leading game engine platform. It looks like many respondents said they still liked the control/tools of Photoshop for a single frame but wished for more automation. These kind of manifold learning algorithms she shows on her Twitter page could potentially support some of that unification.

Doesn't that still leave the ruling with the limited precedential value I described? It only tells us the outcome if you consider the effect on rights of platforms. It does not tell us the outcome if you consider users generally (beyond those we know posted unprotected content).
