It should be possible to have different timelines/scales/types with defined relations between them. Story within a story, and a CD playing in a movie are examples.

Interactive software like games features trigger events that modify the future event timeline. These events can also modify 1 kind of timeline without affecting the others.

For beautifully concise descriptions of rendering, a 2D language that also “knows about” 3D things and a 3D language that also “knows about” 2D things are going to be best as distinct styles.

I think about an example of random choice & underspecification that can be improved on. Say the scene includes “a toaster” & the system only knows that toaster is an example of counter-top appliance. It has a range of sizes and vague box-like shape concepts for “counter-top appliance”, so the first try in some style might include a random choice for a box the size of a counter-top appliance with a label that says “toaster” on it. The user can then refine this by adding more info, perhaps via programming & perhaps by a GUI that can accept digital images & try to interpret them. Similarly, event timelines can go from less to more specified in incremental development.
