Quick summary of the symbolic ideas of the protest:

Point 1: Heine gang puts a lot of emphasis on clever names with meaning.

Point 2: Heine gang never promotes A people. Always B,C,D,…etc. So the people names that Heine promotes to positions/publicity are often chosen in part for their in key meanings and people that Heine wants to be leaders are often inserted into the identities of names that Heine gang likes

Point 3: The names Lotus Coffman and Coffman Memorial Union have many, different, in key meanings…but all of them emphasize Heine control of sexuality, Heine sex kills, Heine replacement, Heine positions against outside sexuality, or Heine oversite.

Point 4: For the reasons above, it’s accurate to say that the name for the Student Union building, prominent on UMN campus, was chosen as an expression of Heine gang control. An effort to change the name is a symbolically accurate protest.
