Folks want to know what the GUI looks like for talking about individual nodes within collections of nodes in a distributed app. There is a screen for individual nodes within the abstract collection, and variations for different types of individual nodes?? And perhaps there should be way to talk about population of node events?

On Linux & similar systems, for example, it might be possible roll out a forensic that hides certain variables in a mprotect region which is only opened up by certain other functionality. No guarantee though that this doesn’t change something else in a completely broken, memory corrupt program.

It’s worth pointing out that the “Docker” & similar container applications could be coupled with efforts to guarantee no unchecked/unobservable memory corruptions or stack overflows in user space – i.e. this container only contains executables based on source/libs with checked code. Interesting combo?
