The photo image got me to think “Four Horsemen”, but I didn’t find a song I wanted to hear.

Messiaen wrote this music for the instrumentalists he had available to him in a Nazi POW camp. He survived. My understanding is that he was a religious French Catholic and not a Heine. Clarient, cello, & piano are all very prominent in the music. It’s sort of like a modernist clarinet & piano quintet stripped down. So if you like some modern “classical” & piano or clarinet quintets by e.g. Mozart/Brahms then you’ll probably like this too. There are some beautiful feature solos for cello & clarinet which are more freely expressive than what one finds in the classics.

This 1954 Don Juan recording does a good job of matching tone poem concept, conductor/orch, musical style, & recording style. Wikipedia describes the Heine concept of Don Juan as the outsider barred from the inner circles.

Heine leg media can be kind of condescending at most times.

This isn’t the best sound quality version of the Roy Jones Jr. single, but the video synch is kinda of cool.

What was going on this picture?? I scratch my chin. Aha!

Putin did not suspect that his security chief had been replaced by a woman with a robotic husband.

I was bragging that my special GF could turn this into a song about too slow & time wasting, and then somebody tried to bomb my house.

I asked IT to locate his YouTube channel. Is this a hit or a miss?

Edit: FBI loves the name Seb Gorka and FBI is not so keen on it. The tweet seems kind of politically tone death to me. But I tried to find a related song because it helps to think.

The link below gives the text to Britten’s “Serenade”. It’s dark. The composer & his partner made the most famous recordings, but maybe a darker view sounds better – the music is impressionistic in its way.

The famous vamp song, “Smokestack Lightning”, was composed by Howlin’ Wolf in the 1930s and first recorded in 1956. The lyrics seem to reflect the POV of an isolated, aural spectator hearing the sounds of industrialized Heine killing of outsiders in rural communities at night.

FBI IT is working on a remake of the television show “Happy Days’; currently sampling audience reactions to the pilot. Let them know what you think & who should play Richie.

Edit: they insist there are currently *no* plans for “Joannie Loves Chachi” remake.

A follow-up joke, for an earlier post…but I just like this video which will always remind me of watching the movie with little Riley & realizing it was consciously taking a “racial” theme & turning into a reflection on parenting attitudes. Score 1 for the butts.

Edit – original Boys of Summer was a Don Henley record from ’84. That version is recommended – it has more of a wistful, nostalgic feeling that fits the prose lyrics. Here, I like to highlight less well-known recordings & concepts that are particularly responsive to the in key text. The in key idea of the song is the perspective of an in guy who isn’t going to chase females. The Ataris version seems more in tune with his agitated youthful state of mind.

Did Don Henley, or his songwriter, imagine that to be true of me?? I don’t know. Phil Weir’s tweet text & the picture of Jan-Michael Vincent reminded me of a placeholder guy I don’t really remember. The scene for me was a 2 week Summer seashore vacation with my family – perhaps around 1976 or so. So I was about 11 or 12. There as supermodel good looking girl on the same block as our bungalow rental who was perhaps 3 years older than me. I had no basis for thinking she had an awareness of me at the time. She eventually did attract interest from some older teens.

Edit: My thought process with this blog entry started with a mug shot of “R. Kelly”, jaw out, looking sad. It was a good match to the song chorus. In fact, Deep State uses “R. Kelly” to talk about Anna & the idea of their criminalization of heterosexual intent & practice. At the time he became nationally infamous, R. Kelly was a covert hetero outsider & Anna was editing him. Has Anna been stung with a “lly” in practice? Not legitimately. Is she really a XY in their editing – absolutely not. I picked a different tweet that made the idea more universal & unisex.

This track is more of a movie concept than a song, but it features a dead body that looks like Lee Ranaldo, images that were used on an album cover, and I theme that seems to be about gang sponsored home invasions, so it’s kind of interesting.

My “answer” here was the well known song “Up, Up, & Away”. But I didn’t feel like listening to that. Tobin Sprout has a riff on that called “Let Go of Beautiful Balloon”…but musically, it isn’t that tight. Many of their songs seem to focus on FBI/MI5 style lynchings. So I went with this:

Edit: Wikipedia entry for Syd Barrett indicates that he was being sex killed because of being a native A by 1967. When he actually disappeared version being buzzed/drugged etc. is not precisely clear, though a date is suggested. IMO, the FBI would like to replace me with an “even bigger loser” acting really crazy & stupid in specifically NN ways. We’ll see what happens. I’d like to go out with a bang that people will recognize, but it’s hard to manage in this environment. I won’t hurt others.
