FBI is testing out upgraded flux rifles today. I’ve been slowed down by that. It’s not different, but shoots farther in a more penetrating/quick acting way.

While I was sleeping they also tried out something that was new to me…I’m not sure thought…it felt kind of similar to descriptions I’ve read about directed energy weapons that cause a heating sensation under skin, but it also seemed to prefer bony rather than fleshy locations, so maybe it was something different….it also to reflect off the galvanized, like the “laser”…too soon to tell though, could have been just a different way of using flux.

I was out for only 30-35 minutes, dropping off Riley & her classmate for practice yesterday. And there was fresh snow on the ground. Still, it was daylight and the FBI knew the time in advance, so I got burned. A hacked light, tracer chem on my mouse, and some in close flux source – probably a new spot on the house nextdoor that only 12 ft. away from where I sit (not really sure why they would care about making noise when I can hear it- nothing secret is going on here). So I’ve spent the past half day diagnosing & dealing with those things (and a few other angles).

Even so, last night was a profitable research night, turning up a surprising amount of dirt related to Operation Condor in general, and the Letelier assassination in particular:

And best of all, Bush, as CIA director basically backed Uruguyuan goons who threated to assassinate Ed Koch, and the FBI told Koch to fend for himself. This was before the Letelier. After it happened, they got worried about bad publicity and canceled the diplomatic covers for the guys who wanted to assassinate Koch, who was scared enough to keep quiet about it all until Condor was busted and being prosecuted in 2004.
