I know also that many are interested in making new vehicles – cars, trucks, buses etc. For new vehicles, it remains to be seen whether the advantages of GT tech & no sabotage will outweigh the disadvantages of the uphill struggle we face. In the area of servicing, fixing, selling & providing parts for used vehicles, we may be able to take big advantage of what others are throwing away due to politics & lack of users.

I slept & reflected on a dense key-text koan that touched on many current events topics. Some part of it fits here. In the text below, I’ll focus on the closest part of that first & then expand to the broader context.

Q: There is a pipeline of ready entry-level recruits in SW/EE. Can GT keep absorbing them in SW/EE roles? What is the best way to do that?

A: For productive product creation & economics, GT can absorb all working folk. Folks with these skills *could* be productively employed in geographically isolated digital roles within large-scale centrally organized projects. That format is not strategically optimal for other reasons. Those reasons include:

    i. Deep State strategy is to force GT into anon IT that is not seen or directly acknowledged & use the labor, with low leverage, from there. GT needs to be seen & developing in all economic realms to achieve greater security, independence, visibility, & long-term viability.

ii. Hierarchical structures are easier for spook to attack at the top & at the bottom. Isolated people are easier to pick off, less happy, & less attached to their peers & community.

iii. Military IT is leading Deep State opposition & they are happiest with picking off & controlling digital worker cogs.

iv. Legal corruption & bias prevents GT from getting the same kind of multipliers for IP that private industry does. From a P&L or IPO trained viewpoint, the purely economic rewards for digital supremacy are lower than naive estimates.

    v. In general, achieving a wealth in the form of ability to provide most needed & most appreciated help for each other is a much more powerful stock of value than cash reserves or property that can be picked off. If you think abstractly about what you are saving for, it is mostly about the quality and availability of that help. Quality social community is much richer than help for hire.

All of that said, there are good projects to use massive numbers of entry level SW/EE & competition within private industry or the DOD is not near the top of our concerns. The larger context of public promotion is more helpful than harmful.

    Some promising areas for that:

    A. Expanding Robotics through digital simulation of whatever we can imagine artificial labor doing for us. Consider these parts of the work:

    a) capturing accurately detailed models of a work site & task description for that work site – millions of work sites with minor variations.

    b) Capturing accurate digital simulations of robotic designs that can be placed at the digital version of a work site & tested for performance

    c) Optimizing the digital design to do more, look nicer, with more safety, & convenience.

    d) Optimizing the digital design of the manufacturing of the robots in order to become cheaper, more profitable, & more flexible.

    e) Testing the accuracy of the digital models with real models. Examining failures/inaccuracies and fixing the bugs.

    f) Endless iteration on all of the above.

    B. Similar to the above but with a focus on office automation, emphasizing NLP, voice generation, WWW/browser comprehension/AI, scheduling deliveries, appointments, shopping, etc.

    C. Computer Generated Video for everyday events – daily shows, news reports, etc. can be presented with imaginative CGI that appeals to particular audiences. Content is king, but if we imagine doing this everyday, there is kind of a gradient between human content creation & dev ops. Advertising is part of this too. And tutoring.

    D. Teaching AI – interactive tutoring/probing/correcting of AI learners is more powerful than trying to learn from static corpora & encyclopedias. The teaching dialogs are useful for saving & repeated use. Organizing & reorganizing it all is post-doc level work, but increased, effective use of entry-level work in this way should be a continuing graduate-level goal.

    E. Marketing – Most web development, SEO, e-mail generation, flyer printing, & demand modeling is done for marketing purposes. Much of ML analysis too. Some of that is described as techy & assigned to specialist techs. As tech matures, each technique becomes less specialized & more of a tool in a larger arsenal of techniques. Good Team faces extreme & new marketing challenges due to Deep State blackballing & removal of eyeballs, customers, collaborators etc. That places GT in the role of guerilla marketing. What combination of boots on the ground & tools is the right approach to guerilla marketing in each local situation? How can we share elements of that nationally & internationally? The answers aren’t found in any theory books. Basic familiarity with tech is part of that. I like the feel of enthusiastic undergraduate teams working on these problems.

The quoted text I saw was “I am scrambling to find places for kids.” There are many different parses & interpretations of that. I meditated on it for a while & decided to see it as the viewpoint of a DOD logistics/staffing people mover who is seeing massive land dings & relocation of people in response to Deep State’s ongoing domestic wars. A bright ss male teen with a focus in EE/SW is somebody he would rather not discard & he is concerned about GT appeal & GT subversion. GT wants to integrate all good people & we don’t like “Tornadoes ripped through parts of Alabama” or “Many storms are creating havoc in Alabama.” That’s Deep State policy working everywhere. Fighting isolation is a struggle for many – I know from personal experience that it can be a very hard, unpleasant, life & death struggle. Creating large networks with many active, criss crossing interactions & a sense of community is a way to oppose those plans. Creating command structures with isolated computer work tends to play into them. Good Team should move as fast as possible, with those thoughts in mind.

This list from March still looks right. Good Team is seeing a larger flood of regular people willing and able to join now. In order to help with evaluations, placements, & training, I suggest:

    a) For each type of entry level slot in the high volume categories, make a detailed study of the skills/talents/edu involved there and what kind of training steps are available for people falling slightly short of those standards.

    b) For people who do meet entry level requirements in terms of edu, what are the premium factors which would separate the best candidates from the average ones. By way of example, the GT interest in CAD design was expressed more than a year ago and many people – both allies & intel hackers/legs made a point of positioning themselves as CAD candidates. The one’s who really went through a MSE in Mech Eng. or something like that have a premium qualification. But others who did not, may still have relevant edu and detailed design experiences they could highlight. That’s a lot different than just being introduced to some popular software.

Additional Concept: Its key for Good Team growth rate to keep supporting multiple geographically distributed business ops that can continually add employees without extra special training or qualifications. My ear to the ground says that we need more tactical biz focus on how to do that, assuming a reality of continued Deep State sabotage & blackballing.

    Concepts for that:

Deep State sabotage of the general population creates the broadest opportunities. Sabotage of food & beverage, security, news, energy efficient/no EMF buildings, social media, telecom, electronics, autos, & home delivery – all these things are super sized global markets where the typical person faces inferior products due to sabotage. Taking advantage of the opportunity is tricky because of both Deep State ops against GT & the potential for Deep State to quickly change the biz environment simply for strategic spite.

For most Good Team people & other allies, growth of size & visibility is necessary for long term survival.

Biz products face natural tradeoffs between elite quality, quick growth, short term profitability, long term profit opportunities, and flexible adaptation.

Many forms of service such as IT, logistics, & advertising can be shared across biz lines.

Flexibility of the tactical biz response to the environment can maintained alongside super high growth if care is taken to internally recognize product lines & workers according to how they fit into various adaptive plans. Who is able to quickly move to a different line if the environment needs change? Which product lines are trying to be simply the best vs. which are best because of Deep State sabotage that can be turned off or undercut on price?

Plan for high volume reconfiguration as needed & go for the super growth. The growth limit in practice should be about figuring out who is trusted & how to securely engage with them, avoiding most icy replacements.
