joshClarifying: The description of Step 3 above shades in a different direction than my actual thoughts. I assume that the regular screening/recruitment pipeline in Step 5 is sufficient to screen & motivate serious candidates. I didn’t mean to jump ahead of that. My thought was to justify the nudge to provide self-description in a constructive way. Why do that without some aligned hope? Why not optimize the alignment? Maybe some reasons. Good reasons?

no-response or canned response due to a1) no real person there, b1) not reached a person there, c1) BOD/MITM produces filters/canned or no response, or d1) expectation that most push contact is evil or junk, e1) genuine lack of interestIntensified samplying efforts may be required to align estimation of p with analysis of these other cases & optimized methods of trying to contact.
