My hunch here is that the text possibly refers to uncovered info about Valerie T being discussed prior to our trip to Australia that Summer. The story I have heard is that the FBI secretly declared my id over without cause around that time (and others, but that time is meaningful to their internal view of later events). It would be internally meaningful to them to view it as a plan for a sting that didn’t come off for one reason or another and then led to a continuing amping of offensive effort that was unconnected to any causal foundation.

My folks didn’t discuss any need to keep secrets outside of extreme personal embarrassments and protection from non-existent NN burglars. Mental disease was exemplified by one remote relative, said to have a biomedical defect that was largely treatable if she stayed on her medication.
