    A bonus win for old construction would be some kind of a robot that can safely operate a copper weld inside of a wall cavity with significantly less wall displacement than a plumber would cause. I think it’s possible & a tool regular plumbers would want.

    Think of the swinging arm tools in a dentists office as [powered based which is secured somehow] + [thin, sectioned, reaching, toolkit] That conceptual combo can be optimized to get to a lot of spots, where the base can either stand or clamp to tension support itself. The neighborhood of the work can be identified in multiple ways & cleared.
