joshPoly urethane has 4 good properties:
a) it can seal/block
b) both mechanical & EE vibrations tend get whitened by the imposed noise filter, canceling their specific frequency coherence
c) it’s often not very visible from far away, though it becomes less transparent over time
d) mixes well with water
