    What sort of customers would use this? Most common situations:

    a) Really low on cash flow – don’t want more debt
    b) Suspect that new products would be a personal downgrade rather than an upgrade
    c) Functionality of the old thing is not available in a new product.
    d) Environmental principles of reuse
    e) infrequently used but somehow needed – too much regret buying a new one

    As a growth theme, I believe it’s possible that if repair options were more familiar as a low hassle experience then more new products would be geared with that in mind.
