One important point that I have repeatedly emphasized is this: in the modern tech world, the systemic motivation for covert slavery as economic comfort has disappeared. At the systemic level, the system of creating & sustaining covert slavery is very, very expensive for most. So the original materialistic motivation has become replaced by a sadism & spite motivation. The military war college has understood this reality & adopted a cult religion of teaching that sadism & spite.
